Another thing to note about the summer league is the year that they didn't have it was the year RMU didn't have a winning season (this past year, 10-22 record).

This summer league actually helps the new recruits (& returning players) a few weeks to play games against other Divison 1 players in the summer.

Playing against & with players from Pitt, Duquesne, YSU etc is good for coach Toole and his players
