From what I heard, he is still a RMU commitment and the staff plans on him being a Colonial.
I sure hope he sticks with RMU. He seems like a heck of an athlete that can play multiple positions.
With his injury, my thought would be he is coming to RMU unless a dream school would offer.
Duane brown has reopened his recruitment per his twitter. I brought this up about a month ago that it seemed that RMU was cooling on him / he was cooling on rmu via his twitter activity today just reaffirms that.
I forget if Brown was coming in as a WR or RB, but on an RB note. Murray has re-tweeted a couple RMU commits, not that it means anything, but interesting.
If Aiden Howard is healthy for the 2017 season and Harrison Dreher is good to go, along with Tim Vecchio and the other returning receivers; I am feeling really good about the WR position. Would love to see us land a high quality RB. This recruiting class is so close to being outstandingly super-duper. DeWayne Murray III can put it over the top. Go Colonials!
Aiden Howard would be this years WR and already has a leg up on any incoming recruit after being here for a whole year.
Also wouldn't surprise me to see Kevin Brown ATH from Plum get a look on O kid is dynamic with the ball in his hands. Early guesses on starting WR next season ??? Howard, Robinson, & Veechio. Sprinkle in some Trey Edwards and Delano Madison and that's a pretty solid position group.
If RMU lands Murray that is just the cherry on top of the Sunday for Coach Miller and Russ.
RB's for next season if you add Murray :
Blake - coming back from injury but reports are promising that he will be good to go.
Dreher - Academics kept him off the field last year but can't wait to see what this kid can do on the field
Murray - would have to be the highest rated recruit RMU has ever signed.
Satcher - Kickoff return specialist who showed some glimpses of solid production last year
Wells- hard nose runner who carried the load after multiple injuries last season.

Dreher: I am really excited to see this young man. If he is as good as I think he will be, he will be a guy you just have to find a way to get him the ball.

This is shaping up to be the most potentially explosive offense RMU has had in years. Just need the coaches and players to be able to execute, as the weapons should certainly be there.

I have high hopes for dreher too. If you have a combination of Blake and dreher,you can keep them both fresh and could use satcher as a 3rd down back, that backfield could look really good. And I'm anxious to see the competition on the offensive line with 5-6 more commits coming in plus all of last years starters back as well. Gonna be interesting to watch it all play out. As far as qb goes, I can't see last year repeating itself. I've never seen a team swarmed with injuries like that, but I also feel there is more quality depth this season from top to bottom
I would normally agree but when watching the Dukes have success in the NEC while RMU struggles then we battle for backyard recruits...I want to see where those kids go.
One recruit has been lost to Duquesne this year, id actually say Rmu has the recruiting edge the past two or three years in the wpial. Now it hasn't correlated to success on the field. But this staff has done a great job targeting local talent and locking them up. A
Duquesne, the other NEC members and the teams on the nonconference schedule are going to be in for a surprise when they play the Colonials in the fall. Bring on Duquesne, bring on Dayton, bring on the NEC. Go Colonials!
Couldn't agree more. Great classes the past few years now lock this one up and let's get going in spring ball. Let last years young group gel and become leaders. A few key players/leaders return that were lost to injury last year and this young class is ready to take the bull by the horns and welcome in this years class and some outstanding transfer talent. It should be fun this fall!! Go Colonials!!!

It appears the Dukes are trying to get in late in the game with Murray. Find it interesting it's only a one day visit.
I do not know for certain, only semi educated guess is Murray. Not based on anything concrete, more of hunch I suppose.
Yes, again just a hunch. On a different note, Anothony dellefemine would be another great pick up. Would think they have to be running low on scholly $$ soon.
If they get ADF and Murray, all the prevoius guys that verbaled sign and end up on campus, that will be one hell of a class.

February 1st is the first day of the signing period. You can bet there will be a lot of scrambling around between now and then as some players are holding out for higher level offers which may or may not materialize, and some players with verbals with higher level programs will get bumped because the higher level school has found someone they like better. It seems RMU has a lot of solid commitments from players, but some will likely drop off for various reasons, that will happen at every program, and there will be some players that RMU will sign that previously looked as though they would be going to a higher level program. It will be fun, just don't get too disappointed if or when we lose a player, it will happen to high level FBS schools also. I get the impression that Dwayne Murray III is very interested in RMU, but is holding out to see if he gets a high level offer. If he does, then good for him; I just don't want to lose him to the other local NEC school. Go Colonials!
