New Offers

Looks like Football is still pulling to get more players for the 2017 class.
I wonder if more money is available or did someone new left the team.

Saw that ORMC and wondered the same. He followed it up with a tweet about D Tackles. If GoRMU (pretty sure it was him) who printed the 17 roster, would be interesting to see if a tackle in particular is moving on.

I think both defensive tackles that play alot(zamiska and fenwick) will be back. I do remember somebody saying that Simeon Phillips was committed as a DT from Florida, but ended up going to keiser where Myles Russ went to. Since they didn't get one, I'm guessing that leaves a spot open

Ty,
That makes a lot of sense. I do think D. Smith from Steel Valley will be a really good player for the Colonials in the future.

Pedro Schmidt (sp?) is going to University of North Dakota. Think he was offered a PWO with RMU.

Being that Ethan is a tackle and we just signed 6 lineman. It makes me wonder if one of those commitments couldn't get in academically

Article about RMU signee Eddie Kachmarek. Eddie must excel in the classroom as well as on the field, he was recruited by several Ivy League schools. It's always fun to read the articles from the recruits' home town newspapers.

Thanks for posting this, I really enjoy reading those articles as well. I think Eddie is a guy that will be great for the team. He will need to fill out and get up to FCS speed, but I think in a couple years he could be a really big contributor for the Colonials.

Impressed with Tomaso and Murphy's film. Tomaso has good hips, a motor, and is a junk yard dog. Murphy plays forward and has a nose for the ball. Be great late pick-ups.

So if I understand correctly, he is a JUCO transfer. I did not realize, until now, that Valley Forge had a JUCO program in addition to its prep program. Big guy with JUCO experience, should compete for playing time immediately.

His nickname is Stacks. That should be worth a few scholarship dollars!

A QB from the same high school that produced Joe Montana. Looks more like another Tim Levcik, and if he is anywhere nearly as good a Levcik, he will be a great addition to the team. Another WPIAL player - love it.

I know lots of injuries last year, but feeling much better about QB position for next few years. Hopefully the competition brings out the best in all of them.
