He also had offers from Rice, UT-Martin, Ohio, Kent State, & Akron.

Good pick up by Toole.

Lepair appears to have similar size and skill set to Isiah Still. On video, he looks to have a better shot than Still, although, who knows, every player shoots a hundred percent on their highlight videos. Since he played a post-grad year at a top prep program he should be better prepared to contribute immediately than players directly out of high school. Same for Charles Bain. I believe Malik Petteway, after playing two years at a top JUCO program, will be the best prepared among the newcomers. I also expect David Cole to play an important role after redshirting this past year. He is 6'6" or 6'7" with a big body and reasonably good athletic ability and skills. He is the type of big man that can excel in the Northeast Conference. Although he did not play this past season, he did practice with the team, so he knows the system and what is expected of him.
The past two years the Colonials have had limitations on offence, it appears that all of the players that Toole is bringing in have good scoring skills. That is, they can shoot.
Sounds like a great play from the other offers he has. New arena playing a big role?
