The Men's basketball team will be playing at Air Force as part of an exempt event, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette. This event will feature Air Force, New Mexico State, and possibly one more team.
No dates announced but expect it to be early in the season, around Thanksgiving. As this is an exempt event, RMU will be able to schedule 31 games, instead of 29.
New Mexico State is a very strong mid-major, and made the NCAA tournament five times since 2010. Air Force, a member of the Mountain West, finished 14-17 this past season.
