Feeling bad for the current student athletes affected and all I can say is
RMCC .. Friendships were formed, success was achieved... banners were raised.

Russrun, Unfortunately it's a major reality at schools across the country. Temple joined Robert Morris in cutting back programs, including track, later that week.

As I wrote in the article below, schools are making the choice to sponsor fewer sports in order to properly fund the remaining. That's how they feel they can best market the school via athletics. Unfortunately it trims the opportunities for other athletes who aren't part of those sports.
