We'll see how the rest of the one-bid leagues pan out, but this might be the ideal year for the NEC to get off the 16-seed line. But that probably only happens if it's one of RMU, Wagner, or St. Francis (PA).
The NEC is 25th in conference RPI, the highest it's been in a few years. Some of that will shift as teams play each other. But if one of those three teams wins the NEC with an RPI around 150-160, they might be able to get a 15/2 match-up.
Maybe these guys missed the two Wagner games. They have us as a 16 against Auburn. Of course no reason RMU can't win the NEC tourney.
