I know RMU can't make that jump to the MVC for basketball but I'm sure MVC will look to add a team to replace Witchita State which could open the door for RMU to jump up to another conference.

Ya some were thinking Valpo might leave the Horizon League which then RMU could hop right in there & also lose one of their (would be) biggest contenders in that League.

I think rmu could do a hell of a lot worse than the horizon. I am still hoping that by a miracle the PL would take RMU, bit this is an example of things moving fluiditly, and pitches and decisions need to made quick sometimes.

Ya that's what I mm thinking too.

W/ Valpo gone RMU could be among the top in that league for sure.

I do REALY want us to get back to winning easy this year (we really have too) but if this moves fast we could possibly be put into the Horizon this quick who knows!

It is a pretty darn good League.

I may be remembering wrong, but it seems to me that Toole was not interested in the Horizon a couple of years ago. He prefers to stay in the East.

I could see that with his recruiting. He really hits the NYC metro area hard, with traveling up there a couple times a year for NEC games, probably makes RMU more enticing to some of those recruits.

Ya he recruiting NY & New Jersey pretty hard so moving to the MAAC would be a better fit in that regard for sure than the Horizon.
