Robert Morris football hopes to rebuild at home with local recruiting

Thanks for posting. Nothing really new in there. It is important to get local kids, its important to pull from other hot beds like MD DC and FLA.

The most important thing is getting good kids that can play, wherever they are from, DEVELOPING AND KEEPING them.

I also think the program is missing out on pulling kids from NY & NJ. The program product some top players from those states.
RMU needs to secure the WPIAL, create pipelines to top high school programs. Continue with OH and MD. Perhaps explore NY/NJ and WV as well.

Then you grab those FL kids.
Not sure why RMU doesn't focus on JUCOs more. I know the focus has been to move away from that but like most posters have stated...we might be a few players away from turning it around. And right now (mostly due to injuries), we don't have a QB.

I would target a few JUCO QBs and see if you can get one that you can plug in next season.

Funny you mention the JUCO thing, I think I brought it up a while ago or maybe it was just in a conversation with someone. RMU has had success with JUCO players in past. Not an overwhelming number, but I think every year they ought to get one or 2. There are a lot of great kids in the JUCO ranks, just need to find the right fit.

A QB from JUCO would be a great idea. Depending on what league they played in, they could certainly be accustomed to speed of the game, and hopefully have the IQ and field sense to read and rip.

Speaking of recruting, looks like RMU offered this QB Isaiah Robinson. He looks amazing to me, some of the more Offensive minded guys might be able to evaluate better than I can.

Guy I've watched since High School is Jayru Cambell in the Kansas JUCO system. Had personal issues growing up outta Cass Tech High. He had numerous offers before he settled on Michigan State.... Would be a good look as well at the QB position

Just saw this while looking at JUCO QB's. A QB named Quinn Frisell, according to Rivals.com, was a QB commit for 2016 2 Stars. He ended up at Itasca CC in Minnesota. Anyways, his twitter says he is going to be a mid year transfer. If RMU had any chance, I would think the coaches are all over him.
Here are his highlights from JUCO this year.

That Quinn frisell kid went to robert Morris university in Chicago, they are naia
