Robert Morris Basketball currently sits at only 7-15 on the season (.318) and 3-6 (.333) in conference play.

RMU still seems to be improving from last seasons 10 win campaign (the first losing season at RMU in quite some time).
That team did end up finishing 8-10 in the conference and still barely made the NEC Tourney as the 8 seed.

The team dug themselves a hole this year and has lost both several games that they should have definitely won.

RMU has a tough stretch to go and must start winning games just to get in the NEC Tournament.

Currently Bobby Mo is tied with Sacred Heart for 8th place (RMU is 7th with the tie breaker right now but still...).

When will the team snap out of the downward stage and be back to the winning RMU we all know of and love??

Hopefully it will be soon.

Go RMU & comments thoughts below. Thx.

Hard to say, we do not know what's going on at practices. I may have been wrong when I said the team lacks a true leader, maybe there is one at practice, but I have trouble seeing one in games.

Also, maybe I put 2 much value in player leadership, I do put a lot of value in it. I think a lot of these close games, games they were up double digits in second half, if there is a player the rest of the guys can look to for leadership it can make a world of difference. It's not just making baskets either, it's encouraging the other guys, keeping your head up no matter what happens.

I think can could win every game left in the schedule, I think they have the physical talent to do, they need the mental toughness to catch up. I also think they could lose every game remaining, just never know what these guys are going to do. Has to be incredibly frustrating for the coaches.

One positive for the future, they have a HS commit, signed look, named koby thomas, and if I am understanding verbal commits website correct, here are some schools that also offered him...

And a bunch more. I do not know anything about him other than that, but would assume he is pretty damned good with that list.

Yeah I agree with you that RMU certainly could win every game left but lacks the mental fortitude to do so.

I hope they turn it around soon...

Koby Thomas is certainly a bright spot for the future for RMU. He has about the same amount of offers as Isaiah Still but has some better teams offer him.

Biggest problem tho is that we loose our best and really only great ball handler in Kavon Stewart. After watching the Mount game, it shows how important he is to the team.

We also lose (Conrad,) Billy Giles, & Aaron Tate down low too.

Definitely think there is optimism but Tooles gonna have to work Clive Allen to improve a lot with handling the ball and not carrying it either. Clive does have great potenial tho.

Go Bobby Mo

Now we're at 7-16 & 3-7 in conference.

If RMU doesn't start a win streak soon, it'll be (another) year of "what could have been."

Cmon boys!!
