So far, the only games announced to my knowledge have been @ Virginia & now @ Kansas State.

One at Kansas State could be a possible upset & could be at the end of the year (like before January) like vs Gerogia this past season.

Does anyone else know if anything else has been announced ?

Thanks

Here is what we know:

Confirmed

at Virginia
at Kansas State
Duquesne

Speculation

at Bucknell
at Lehigh
Columbia
Oakland
Penn
Youngstown State
vs Towson (not sure of site)

Based on putting 2 and 2 together I believe the Kansas State game is part of the Barclays Center Classic where RMU will play 2 games at the host schools (Kansas State and either BC, Maryland or Richmond/Arkansas). Then they will play 2 other schools at a site TBD. One of those teams is rumored to be Towson. The other is TBD.

The Bucknell, Lehigh, Columbia, Penn and YSU games would be back end of home and home's. I am not sure all 5 will be this year but RMU owe's Bucknell and Lehigh a game and Columbia, Penn and YSU owe RMU a game.

The Oakland game I saw on an Oakland message board. It would be odd for them to come to RMU 2 years in a row but that is what the poster said. Maybe it is a 1-2-1 series.

Great post! & thanks for contributing.

RMU could have a minimum of possibly 5 home Non-conference games this upcoming year which would be pretty sweet.

We can probably raise YSU to better than just speculation as they are a local team & RMU has played them for several years or more.

Go RMU

Good info. The Richmond game is part of the Barclays Center Classic that I mentioned above. So the tournament includes Kansas State and Richmond on the road and Towson and ??? site TBD.

Good to hear Penn and Oakland confirmed.

So from my list above still need to confirm

at Bucknell
at Lehigh
Columbia
YSU

If those 4 are accurate with the UVA and Duquesne games there would only be one game left unknown. Pretty good for this time of year.

I hope they get Columbia & YSU at home to next year as 5 (or more) home games would be nice for the University and the fans.

Go RMU....

I doubt it. Looks like the Richmond matchup is a part of the Barclays Classic, meaning there isn't a contract between the teams.

If we are indeed playing DePaul, that will be confusing to the people of Chicago, the home of the imposter Robert Morris University.

Date of Kansas State game released (11/22). Also Hampton is part of the Barclays Center Classic. We play host schools Kansas State and Richmond and will play 2 games (site TBD) against 2 of Towson, Hampton and TBD. So the schedule looks like

11-13 at DePaul
11-22 at Kansas State (Barclays Center Classic)
12/10 Oakland
TBD Duquesne
TBD Penn
TBD Youngstown State ????
TBD Columbia????
TBD at Richmond (Barclays Center Classic)
TBD vs Towson/Hampton/TBD (Barclays Center Classic) site TBD
TBD vs Towson/Hampton/TBD (Barclays Center Classic) site TBD
TBD at Lehigh
TBD at Virginia
TBD at Bucknell

Thanks for putting these together...

As for TV games (counting ESPN 3 I suppose), Virginia (most likely an ESPN U game). Kansas State (maybe ESPN U, prob ESPN 3) and DePaul (idk).

Then probably two more games will be on ESPN 3 out of the rest of them... (Richmond maybe & someone else...).

Go RMU...

After his first losing season you might think that Coach Toole would try to lighten up the schedule this season, possibly add a couple of games against D-II teams. When you also consider that the Colonials only have six returning scholarship players, including Tate, who is coming off injury, McConnell, who had off season surgery, Lester who had limited playing time as a freshman due to illness and no returning players that scored in double digits, this looks to be a very challenging schedule. You have to give Coach Toole credit, it just is not in his nature to back down from any challenge, or to take the easy route. Go Colonials!

Yea challenges his teams that's for sure.

He could add some lower level (easy) D1 schools to the schedule but Normally never does. He prefers to play respected and pretty good mid majors.

Looking at the schedule now, I don't really see any horrible RPI games at least tho. (DePaul could be a somewhat bad one, but it gives RMU a chance to beat a Big East team again).

I think that the additions to the team should make them pretty competitive in most of their games but it might take a couple games to gel first.

We'll see

Go Bobby Mo...

Per a Buffalo blog, Buffalo comes to the Chuck this year. That means one of the games listed above won't happen. My guess would be YSU or Columbia.

Looks like the Columbia game is a different year as Campbell comes to the Sewall Center on 12/18. So all that is left to confirm are dates for Lehigh, Virginia, Duquesne, Penn, Buffalo and Richmond along with the neutral site (most likely) games in the Barclays Center Classic

More pieces to the puzzle. The other Barclays Center Classic games are in Baltimore at Towson. 11/25 vs Hampton and 11/26 vs either Towson or Stony Brook. That basically leaves just dates for the other games. I could see the official schedule release coming soon.

Thanks for the updates...

Are all of these games to be played away from the Chuck??

Another RMU game released; Wednesday November 30, Youngstown State at the Sewall Center. Looks like either the Buffalo or Lehigh game mentioned above won't happen.

Thanks everyone for info. I'd like to think Colonial Crazy and I will head to Towson 11/25 and/or 11/26. 11/25 is Black Friday. Calling all Central Penn and Maryland Colonials!

Another update: Campbell released their schedule and no RMU. So here is what we are looking at:

11/11 Penn
11/13 at DePaul
11/16 at Bucknell
11/20 at Richmond (Barclays Center Classic)
11/22 at Kansas State (Barclays Center Classic)
11/25 vs Hampton (Barclays Center Classic at Towson)
11/26 at Towson or vs Stony Brook (Barclays Center Classic at Towson)
11/30 Youngstown State
12/10 Oakland
TBD Duquesne
TBD Buffalo
TBD at Virginia
TBD at Lehigh

Schedule dropping now on Twitter. Will have post up soon on CTC. Rmu with 2 home games at Consol! Wow.
