What type of player do you guys think Toole should get for the last (I believe) roster spot?

-We seem to have plenty of PG's now so we're good there.

-SG's were ok
-SF's ok
-PF/C- maybe add another player here?

I saw that Ro Nix is grad transferring from Pitt. He's 6-11, 300lbs. Toole, IMO, should go after him & try to get him at RMU. Even if he doesn't start, he has tons of size & can give RMU 10-20 min a game.

Thoughts??

Ultimately, Toole may or may not use this spot.

Adding a JuCo, a junior or senior (grad transfer) to this last spot would be a good add. A big man would be good too...

Go RMU

Ro Nix certainly would be an interesting addition. He would create a lot of problems for NEC opponents. I would like to see us get a JUCO or a grad transfer that is an outstanding shooter (easier said then done). By the way, I think we have two scholarships left. I don't expect Roberto to be back. I see no reason that Toole would "not use this spot." Between injuries and players leaving for various reasons, a 13 man roster can dwindle quickly during a season. Last season, Toole gave a scholarship to Conrad. That was an usual case, Conrad worked his butt off. Although he did not get much playing time, he contributed a lot in practice.

Duquesne is building for the future and taking a risk. Their roster will have four transfers sitting out next season. That leaves nine scholarship players. A couple of injuries and they have a very short bench.

Right. Only 9 is definitely a risk.

We need to have at least 11 scholly players that can play. (Josh Williams is transferring in from Akron & has to sit).

If Roberto isn't back, then we're at 10 that can play.

So got to fill at least 1 more spot.

If Nix wants to come here, we should def take him.

Does he have any ties to rmu? I don't see any reason the kid would transfer here from pitt
