Currently, all that I know is Pitt scheduled on the 12 of Novemeber but I’m sure some other people on here know more about games.

Also, just had the thought of what other big/solid schools we could bring into the new arena next year (with Pitt just being announced).

A school that we’ve hosted before in Buffalo is an intriguing school that I think with their great success this year could draw a good crowd. We’ve done a 1-1 (1 home, 1 away) deal with them & I wonder if they would do it again. Maybe now that they’ve built their “brand” bigger this this year they would want a 2-1 type deal. Regardless, I would be all for bringing them in.

Also, it would be great to get Duquesne back on the schedule at UPMC Events Center. Potential for a good crowd is good here as well with Duq being local & improving.

Thoughts? Also, other schools that intrigue you that are realistic to bring in?

I found this article that states RMU and Marshall will play next year, however it doesn't say where. Interestingly Marshall is the CIT top seed and will host the winner of our game with Presbyterian on Sunday. Chatter on the Herd Rivals site says next years game is part of the Global Classic tournament.

Good find on the CIT. Hopefully RMU can get another win tomorrow. If we can’t start playing better in the first half & not fall in big holes, it would be a lot easier on the team lol.

Also, for the 2019-2020 schedule:

So now we have Pitt @ Home
And Marshall-place TBA

Robert Morris is in the Global Sports Event tournament in 2019-20.

Currently also includes Marshall and Notre Dame. RMU will play at Notre Dame and Marshall and also play two other teams that haven't been announced yet. I'd guess one of those (if not both) will be a home game.

Good find.

Hopefully we gets some home games from it...Wonder if any will be neutral site?

New add to schedule!

RMU will play at FGCU on Dec 7th in a home-home deal that will get FGCU to the UPMC Events Center in the 20-21 season.

More on the event with Notre Dame and Marshall: It's called the Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational and also includes Howard and Toledo.

RMU will play at Notre Dame on November 9.

Unless RMU has another road game that week, Notre Dame will be the season opener followed by Pitt as the home opener.

Decided to put this here instead of making a new thread. NEC schedule is up.

1/2 - at CCSU
1/4 - at Merrimack
1/9 - St. Francis Brooklyn
1/11 - Wagner
1/18 - Merrimack
1/20 - Sacred Heart
1/23 - at St. Francis Brooklyn
1/25 - at LIU
1/30 - Bryant
2/1 - CCSU
2/6 - at Wagner
2/8 - at Sacred Heart
2/13 - at Mount St Mary's
2/15 - FDU
2/18 - at St. Francis Pa.
2/21 - Mount St. Mary's
2/23 - at FDU
2/29 - St. Francis Pa.

Just one game against LIU and Bryant with the introduction of Merrimack.

New one - at Cleveland State on November 30. Resumption of a series that's been played occasionally throughout the years.

So we've got -
11/9 - at Notre Dame
11/12 - Pitt
12/7 - at FGCU
12/21 - at UNLV

Confirmed games, no date
- at Marshall, at/vs Toledo, at/vs Howard as part of Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational.
- at Youngstown State

Still five games unannounced or unconfirmed. I believe all the MAAC opponents from last year (Canisius, Siena, Rider) were two-year home-and-homes that have expired. Maybe Drexel is back on the schedule at home this time.

12/4 at Youngstown State

Thanks. Forgot about Marquette and couldn't find a YSU date.

Those 3 games are likely all home games. Because that's a pretty brutal non-conference schedule as it is.

Update: Howard game is neutral site at Toledo as part of tournament

11/9 at Notre Dame
11/12 Pitt
11/23 at Marquette
11/17 vs Howard (at Toledo)
11/30 at Cleveland State
12/4 at Youngstown State

TBD at Toledo

The other 3 games should be at home since there is only 1 known home game.

Scheduling is always a challenge for lower-tier D-I programs, but holy moly, is this the way to get fans excited about the new facility? A brutal road schedule, only one known home game, that would take a major upset to win. I do expect that one, probably two, of the open dates will be against non-D-I opponents at UPMC Events Center. Of course, the non-conference schedule is to get the team well prepared for the conference, hopefully, this competition will do it. RMU has a good core group of players back plus some very talented newcomers. I'm excited. Go Colonials!
Thanks, PantherRich1 for the updates on the scheduling!

North Carolina Central's head coach was openly pleading on Twitter for games so that he could fill out his team's schedule. NC Central had a similar record to RMU but made it to the NCAA Tournament by winning the MEAC.

So it wouldn't surprise me if RMU is in a similar boat. Maybe Toole and LeVelle Moton can work something out and NCC can come up to Moon in exchange for a game down there next year.

Date for Marshall game

11/7 at Marshall
11/9 at Notre Dame
11/12 Pitt
11/15 vs Howard (at Toledo)
11/16 at Toledo
11/23 at Marquette
11/30 at Cleveland State
12/4 at Youngstown State
12/7 at Florida Gulf Coast
12/21 at UNLV
TBD

Two more announced today - at Illinois-Chicago on November 21. Host Central Michigan on December 17.

11/7 at Marshall
11/9 at Notre Dame
11/12 Pitt
11/15 vs Howard (at Toledo)
11/16 at Toledo
11/21 at UIC
11/23 at Marquette
11/30 at Cleveland State
12/4 at Youngstown State
12/7 at Florida Gulf Coast
12/17 Central Michigan
12/21 at UNLV

All those road games with a beautiful new building really does seem counter intuitive.

Robert Morris will host Geneva basketball on November 27, per the Geneva basketball schedule (h/t @NelCastNY). Two schools are just 35 minutes apart, but that will be their first ever official meeting. Not sure if they've played an exhibition game before.

That should be it, then. Certainly seems like Robert Morris is still struggling to get home games, even with the new arena. Probably doesn't help that it has 4 starters back, so teams are a bit less eager to play.

At least FGCU and hopefully YSU, Cleveland State, and UIC are all at home next year. Maybe Duquesne will be back on the schedule.

Speaking of, Duquesne will be playing a handful of A10 games at the UPMC Events Center while their new arena is being built. RMU is returning the favor for Duquesne letting the Colonials play a little at Palumbo. Looks like a potential doubleheader (or quadrupleheader, if the women's teams are on the same day) on February 29. Duquesne is playing George Mason at RMU while the Colonials have their regular season finale against St. Francis Pa
