We all get excited each year about the recruiting classes. However, most college football players do not see much action as true freshmen. Which RMU players, from last year's recruiting class, do you see taking the biggest step up to be key contributors in their second year with the team?

Rivals List

Here is my Top 3 potential impact players from the 2014 class:
1. Mathew Barr - QB
-the forgotten QB since he was not on the roster or field. This young man could be the ideal QB for Hicks system. He is big, fast and can fling that ball around. His biggest challenge is that he has 3 solid QBs in front of him with more experience ahead of him. If there is going to be a shake up at any position in 2015, it could be the QB position.

2. Kyle Buss - WR
-Tons of hype coming into the 2014 season but he didn't get a chance. He will get a chance in 2015 but can he take advantage of it?

3. "Tank" Waters - LB
-He will be a welcome face back to the defense this season (along with Marcelis Branch). Look for Tank to anchor one of the MLB positions in 2015.

Thanks, Original_RMC

Waters is definitely someone that I am expecting big things from in the fall.

Buss looked to be an excellent recruit last year. I could certainly see him stepping up.

You surprised me with the grey shirt QB, Barr. I assume that he is a student this semester, so he will participate in the spring drills. If so, he could be in mix competing with the three more experienced QBs.

I am expecting big things from Grant Lanza, but that could be because I am old enough to remember his father as a player. Grant does seem to have the size and ability to be a good one.

Go Colonials!
