Okay guys... Obviously a big game at hand. What do you guys think RMU needs to do to go dancing? My main points:

-Defend the high post. I loved the way RMU defended the high post against Bryant. Limiting the touches Cannon gets and when he gets them in the shot clock is important.

-Limit the role players. Cannon and Brent Jones will get there's. You know who RMU really has to limit? Guys like Glenn Sanabria, Tyreek Jewell, and Chris Hooper.

Your thoughts?

Attack the rim, and open up shots for the shooters. Kavon Stewart will need to play a good game. i would also like to see Elijah Minnie hit some threes early in the game and stretch the defense out a bit.

Brent Jones took over the game here and was the reason they beat us. We can't let him make a couple of 3s and get in the groove. The other thing that happened that night was that we were very timid in the paint and let Fall dominate. He will get his blocks but we need to be strong with the ball inside and not intimidated. I think our biggest plus going into tonight is that we have two players who are great in creating their own shots in Quise and Rodney. Bottom line is we need to shoot well and get the 50/50 balls. SFNY reminds me of our teams from a few years ago - they are in your face defensively and very scrappy. We need to match that tonight.

There is so much pressure on #1 seeds in one-bid leagues. Add the fact that they are playing for the College's first-ever bid and all the media coverage they are getting and that amps it up that much more. We need to jump on them early and add to the moment.

I can't say enough about the job the coaching staff has done. 6 finals appearances in 7 years is a phenomenal run and we are definitely poised for continued success. Really hoping we play to our abilities and cut down the nets tonight.

Go Colonials!
