Former RMU guard Jimmy Langhurst appears to be on his way back to his alma mater, per this report. He's going to be the director of basketball operations, replacing Tray Woodall, who was promoted to assistant coach.

Langhurst is smart, personable, and knows Toole well. Have to imagine this will be a great fit.

Perfect addition to the staff. He knows RMU, he knows Coach Toole, he knows what Toole expects from his players, in many ways, he is like Toole, passionate about the game, smart, works hard every day. After graduating, Jimmy played professionally a for a few years, out-of-the-country, then worked for Hoop Group, and has been an assistant at two top D-II programs.

That still leaves one assistant coaching position open. Getting someone the caliber of Jimmy in the DBO position, I suspect that the person that is hired to the coaching position will be at least as impressive. Toole seems to always hire former guards as coaches. Maybe this is not a big deal, but I would like to see a big
guy on the staff to coach to the big guys.

The job for the assistant basketball coach is no longer posted, so I assume that Coach Toole has made his choice.
