This team is winning games in ways it hasn't in the last couple years. Such a gritty weekend, especially Saturday. That's a game last year's team loses by 10-15 because they freak out about not scoring.
Instead they locked down and finished it off.
Team is in the driver's seat now. Nothing is guaranteed about the future, but I have to think even Coach Toole is pleased with the way things are going.
Also, interesting note on Koby Thomas in the Post-Gazette recap - he's in concussion protocol. Definitely would explain why he's practiced some but hasn't been in games. He warmed up Saturday but then put his warm-ups back on.
