First College Hoops Preview...NEC predictions

The first college hoops preview hit news stands a few days ago...Some NEC/RMU notes:

They pick St. Francis Brooklyn to win the NEC. The loss of Wayne Martin may have changed their opinion (published after that news broke), but the Terriers will still have a lot of talent coming back.

CCSU comes in second, a bit of a surprise. This is probably more of a Vinales effect. CCSU will still be putrid on D but will certainly be able to put some points up.

RMU comes in third and Mount St. Mary's fourth.

Andy Toole was selected as the conferences best coach, and the magazine noted that RMU will have difficulty replacing the NEC player of the year Karvel Anderson.

More previews will come out in the next week. Ill be stunned if we see RMU any lower then third.

Yea, these big time mags never do that good of a job with the small conferences.

A few years ago I was reading one that forgot RMU had Russell Johnson on the roster going into his senior year.
