Robert Morris will host Lincoln Park forward Elijah Minnie on Thursday. The news was first reported by Craig Meyer of the Post-Gazette.

Minnie is a lanky 6-foot-8 forward who is an excellent shot blocker and is very athletic. As a member of the Class A state champion Lincoln Park (Pa.) squad, Minnie dominated at times because of his height and athleticism. While he's capable of shooting mid-range jumpers and open 3-pointers, as well as a high flying act around the rim, his offensive game still needs some refinement.

He's had pretty varied interest over the last few years. Memphis has been on him recently, but there's no confirmation of an offer from the Tigers just yet. Elon, James Madison, Rhode Island and St. Joseph's have offered along with RMU. Minnie hasn't focused much on recruiting during the season, though Robert Morris has been a frequent visitor at games. Several staff members, including Andy Toole, kept up with Minnie throughout the latter part of the season.

Minnie hasn't detailed a top five, but the fact that Robert Morris is getting one of his five official visits should indicate that he's seriously considering the Colonials.
