On an evening when Josh and Matty had a combined total of 7 points, and if you add in Malik the trio had a combined total of only 15 points, the Colonials, after a slow start, found a way to score 72 points and win by 13. This year's team does not have a superstar, but it has a variety of players that can step up on any given night. It's been great to see the improvement in Yannis as the season has progressed. Chris showed the ability and potential that he has last night, scoring 12 points and 6 rebound in just 15 minutes of playing time. We are starting to see that Cameron is a very talented player. We have seen Donte primarily in the role of a ballhandler, but we are starting to get a glimpse of his outside shooting and driving to the basketball skills, as with Sayveon. If the Colonials maintain first place and have success in the postseason it will be the result of a "team" attitude with different players stepping up on different nights. Go Colonials!

Yep.

It would be very big to win the NEC regular season. Not only does it give you Home court for the whole NEC playoffs, but it also gives you insurance if you faulter, you can still play in a very good postseason tournament in the NIT.

9-2 at home this year. Two losses were games in which RMU struggled defensively - Siena and Saint Francis.

Win the league and suddenly the NAC becomes a very intimidating place for opponents in the postseason.
