I attached each of their highlights right after their names. Harrison dreher is a finesse running back with good agility, heard he might have a couple MAC offers coming in, hopefully he stays. Jaymond Dunn is a great special teams returner, I believe he had atleast 10 touchdowns this year. Chris Stanford is a big strong athletic lineman. I see him playing DE in the mold of Forrest mason. Tim vecchio looks like Kyle buss 2.0. He doesn't drop many passes. He always finds ways to get open and made quite a few great grabs in the wpial championship game against central catholic. And Matt fennell looks like an athletic lineman as well. He played tackle, guard, and center this year. Definitely versatile. Im not a fan of startijg freshman or even playing them normally, but each and every one of these 5 look like they can find some time on the field next fall at joe Walton stadium. I hope the rest of the recruiting class looks like these guys. Also jayson, any insight you could give us into what guys the coaching staff has on their radar or who is offered would be pretty cool as well!

I think you will see some names start to pop up here with offical visit and such. Coaches are more than likely on the road this week recruiting.

Just landed another reciever/ slot back from steel valley

Trey Edwards 6'0" 170 lbs. his hudl says he runs a 4.3 40. His highlights don't look all that electrifying but he's definitely a good athlete. Here's the link

Here's my one question, with all of the receivers coming back next year, along with buss(rookie of year), lamica, and a bunch of others. What are we going to do with all these wide receivers? Is this a sign that the staff doesn't have confidence in them? Or that they feel some of the current ones will transfer? Im a little confused with the number of them

I think what your seeing regarding the reciever position is a lack of talent and depth.

1) Jamison Williams - Clearly has fallen out of favor with the staff. Don't know if its an off the field issue or what but its probably safe to assume he will not be in the plans unless a major change happens. ( Which I hope it does )

1B) Zach Walker- I made him 1B because i really think the correlation to Williams not playing is the emergence of Zach Walker.

2) Jordan Blackmon - To me this kid is one where the incoming recruits pass him on the depth chart. IE Vecchio, Dreher, Edwards, Dunn To many drops in key situations not to mention just doesnt seem to ever get really open. Kid blocks well so maybe there is a spot for him.

3) Craig Thompson - Converted walk on CB turn WR how many times does this work ... Answer not many and I believe you will see some younger guys continue to pass him on the depth chart.

4) Luke Centofanti- Kid is what he is. Never going to run away from anyone but adds solid depth and some solid hands to the group.

5) Kyle Buss- Kid is a Stud and we all know that he needs to get the ball in hands more.

6) Warren Robinson - Kid is a dynamic play maker wish we would have seen the ball in his hands a tad more ( look what he did on punt returns)

7) Nic Lamica - Clearly there is a reason he is not being utilized like we all thought he would. Could it be he isnt grasping any position - His move from LB to WR to TE would indicate something is up. I may be in the minority here but he seems to more of a match up issue from the TE position and being able to motion him to get the best match.

All and All looks like the staff is bringing more talent across the board lets hope it pans out.

I agree with most of that except Craig Thompson. I saw him play high school then watched him in the penn/ohio all star game and the kid has hands. He took the MVP home in that game. I was very surprised that he was moved to corner when he got here. He played sparingly this season but when he did he caught that touchdown against East Tennessee i believe. I do like how the position is getting many upgrades though, im excited to see how this talent pans out on the field
