Welcome to the ColonialsCorner National Signing Day headquarters.

Much like last year, we'll put all official commitments and other
Signing Day news here in this thread. Many Robert Morris commitments
have already made their choice public, and if you've been following
along, you know who they are. We've made it nice and easy and listed
each commitment below. Several have also been quiet so far, and will
reveal their choices tomorrow in events at their high
schools. As word of those announcements emerges, we'll post here.

When the day is done, we expect Robert Morris to make the entire class
official. That will give us the first comments from the coaching staff,
as well as an initial first glance at where certain players are expected
to slot in, especially since several players could reasonably help RMU
at multiple positions.

This original post will be updated with each bit of news, and we'll also
let you know in posts following this one. Feel free to chime in and ask
questions or provide your comments on Robert Morris' Class of 2014
recruits.

ALREADY SIGNED AND ON CAMPUS

These players are already taking classes and will participate in spring ball.

WR Highlights
The
Skinny: A rare 3-star commit for RMU, Buss used the year at Milford to
get extra interest after coming out of a lightly recruited area. Worked
out in the summer with QB Marcus Prather.

LB Highlights
The
Skinny: Big, physical middle linebacker originally committed to RMU out
of high school at Downingtown East but spent the past year at Milford
Academy. His commitment never wavered.

VERBAL COMMITS EXPECTED TO SIGN
These players have already announced they intend to sign with RMU and will make it official on Signing Day.

QB Mathew Barr (6'3, 195 - Troy, OH/Troy) - Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Tall, athletic quarterback was 93-of-193 for 1,009 yards this season.

FB Highlights - SIGNED
The
Skinny: Brown carried just 13 times this season, but is very
experienced in being a lead blocker in an offense similar to what RMU is
installing

DE Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Visited RMU recently and ultimately made the decision to commit on Tuesday night right before Signing Day.

ATH Highlights
The
Skinny: Versatile player was predominantly a fullback, which runs in
the family. Also played defensive end and middle linebacker, so he could
be a fit on the defensive side of the ball.

DB Highlights
The
Skinny: Speedy athlete was Mohawk's primary running back, but he'll
play corner for RMU. Also a candidate to return punts and kicks.

OL Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Morrison played left tackle on a Mentor team that went 13-2, averaged 41 points per game and 426 yards per game.

DE Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Natter was part of an incredibly stingy and active
defense that allowed just 7.3 points per game and helped guide Central Catholic to the Pennsylvania state finals.

RB Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Big running back carried the ball 142 times for 1,223 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. Could also fit in as a wide receiver.

DB Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Richards had a couple of Western NY guys - Chaq Nettles and Andy Smigiera - in his ear fairly often about RMU.

LB Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Middle linebacker will also be part of a military program at RMU to earn his officer commission upon graduation

WR Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: Big, physical receiver caught 55 passes with over 1,000 all-purpose yards on the season.

LB Gerald Ferguson (6'3, 215 - Boca Raton, FL/West Boca Raton) - Highlights - SIGNED
The Skinny: West Boca Raton linebacker has an RMU offer as well as an offer from Marshall.

UNCOMMITTED TO KEEP AN EYE ON

This group of players has pulled in RMU offers or at least serious RMU
interest, and each one is expected to announce a decision on Wednesday.

WR/DB Highlights - SIGNED
The
Skinny: Quietly committed, and his head coach officially confirmed that
he signed with RMU today. He will be a receiver or defensive back for
RMU.

DE Lion King Conaway (6'4, 225 - Southfield, MI/Southfield) - Highlights
The Skinny: Was considering Robert Morris but signed with Eastern Michigan.

S Highlights
The
Skinny: One-time Bowling Green commit visited RMU in January, but was
exploring other options. May not make decision on Signing Day.

LB Highlights
The Skinny: Offered some time ago by RMU. Also can play fullback.

DB Highlights
The Skinny: RMU has been under consideration along with Akron, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, Georgia Southern and Mercer

LB Justin McMahon (6'0, 215 - Mentor, OH/Mentor) - Highlights
The Skinny: Still undecided on where he'll be going. He visited RMU during the season.

TE Jake Sweitzer (6'4, 235 - Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) - Highlights
The Skinny: Picked up an offer in December but has remained quiet ever since. He also had interest from Penn and Davidson

SURPRISE SIGNEES
There's
always the potential for someone to sign or be announced that's off the
radar. We'll let you know who they are as news rolls in on Wednesday.

WR/DB Cameron Sutherland (6'2, 190 - Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic) - Highlights- SIGNED

The Skinny: Sutherland visited Robert Morris during the season and signed with high school teammate Angelo Natter on Wednesday.

WR/DB Drew Allen (6'1, 170 - New Castle, PA/New Castle) - Highlights- SIGNED

The Skinny: New Castle preached speed, speed, speed the last few years, and Allen signed with RMU on Wednesday.

OL Mike Lamb (6'7, 315 - Depew, NY/Depew) - Highlights- SIGNED

The Skinny: Robert Morris was looking for jut a couple of
offensive linemen, and with a potential center locked up in Morrison,
they got themselves a tackle in Lamb.

ATH Gennaro Trovato (5'11, 185 - Leetsdale, PA/Quaker Valley) - Highlights- SIGNED

The Skinny: Trovato played running back, outside linebacker and safety for Quaker Valley. Odds are he ends up at safety, but we'll see.

DL Sean O'Donnell (6'3, 245 - Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford) - Highlights - SIGNED

The Skinny: Also an offensive lineman, O'Donnell will likely slot in on the defensive line for RMU.
