Toole losing two coaches

Nothing too shocking. Tim Lawrence is a young man making a decision on his life's career. His wife, who spent a couple of years as an assistant on the RMU's women's staff, made the same decision to pursue a corporate career a few years ago. Tim is a great guy, I wish him all the best. Robby has been a quiet, but important part of the staff for a long time. Akron is home for both he and his wife. It is easy to understand why he is making this move. With the remaining assistants, Kyle and Mike, Toole has two high quality, hard working coaches. I would suspect that Nick Lackey, who is a young man that already has a long history with the team will take over for Tim as Director of Basketball Operations, and things will not miss a beat. I have total confidence that Toole will hire a quality coach to replace Robby.
On the surface, this may look bad, that in addition to losing players, now coaches are leaving, but it is no big deal. It is perfectly understandable why Tim and Robby are leaving, and the staff remains strong.
