RMU vs Penn

From a guy that really does not know Jack S about Bball, I will predict RMU wins by 4! Take it to your bookie!!!!

Lets go RoMo

18-6 6 mins left in first half. Guys just seem nervous, not making "easy" shots. Seems like a lot of turnovers also. Need to settle down and just play.

Do not have stats, but rebounds seem to be an issue. Also, again to clarify, I know next to nothing about Bball, but they are not play half as hard as Penn.

Edit: I am behind live action. This was said with about 12 mins left.

Again, I am behind live action, but you guys that know Bball does RMU have the length to play Zone on D?

RMU struggled bad yesterday.

No one knew what they were doing and there were ZERO designed plays to Billy Giles and Isaiah Still.

This team needs to set up Still more and develop him to be the team leader scoring wise.

He did lead in scoring (with 15) but inefficient due to some bad shots (5-17 from the field).

Also, this team needs to set up Lorenzen Wright, Dachon Burke, and Matty McConnell up for threes. But, as I said, the team looked very lost.

I think returning at times to the 2-3 zone would be a solid idea... Playing man-to-man did not match up well against Penn AT All... who was a quick team with no real BIG man. Aaron Tate and Roberto M. would get blown by all night long!!

Frustrating stuff....

Go RMU...

PS: on a positive note... lot of new guys to D1 ball and freshmen just starting, this team can be good if they figure out how to create shots and WHO is allowed to shoot them...

I thought they looked out of sorts, but I know next to nothing about Bball. Not sure RMU has the speed to play man to man on D. If they have the length, I think it is important to get that zone mixed in at least.

On offense did not look like a lot of plays in general, and Kavon seemed to show a lot of frustration. Was hoping to see more of Matty, he is an even keeled and steady player.

I am sure Coach Toole knows where the problems are, quick turnaround, think they have a game tomorrow (sunday).

Marcquise Reed had 19 pts in Clemson's opening win.
Pryor currently has 30 pts for Georgetown with about 6 minutes left.

Toole sure as S can recruit kids. Imagine where the team would be with these two.

The team has some quick players but even a couple slower guys makes playing man defense easy for the opposing team.

For example, Aaron Tate is not quick enough to play man to man.
He gave his best effort but it wasn't enough. The quick Penn players, who played a small ball lineup, just whizzed right by him.

He (and others) also tried too much offensively.

Anyway, hope they play a decent game tomorrow and look more like a D-1 team
