Who does RMU Men's basketball give the MVP to? Do you give it a player leaving your program?

Aaron Tate - last year (2015-16) the team was lost without him. RMU was a better team this year because of Tate. Kavon deserves consideration also. He stepped up his game this year and played the way you want a senior point guard to play. Still would be the early favorite to win MVP next year, but he has decided to look for his greener pastures.

By the way, Coach Toole and staff deserve congratulations on having recruited Tate. When I first saw Tate, I realized that he is generously listed at 6'5", then I realized that he has limited perimeter skills and limited offensive skills, yet he became such an important part of the team. The team clearly was much better with him than without him. Coach Toole and staff saw something in him that others may have overlooked.

Good question original_rmc
