Regular Season Champs

Both the men's and women's basketball teams are having nice seasons, especially Coach Toole's MBB squad that won its first Horizon regular season crown. Get out to see them both host their playoff match-ups on Thursday at the UPMC Events Center on campus!

Man, what a ride this has been! Electric atmosphere against Wright State. Never thought I'd see that building sell out again after moving to a conference with neutral site championship games, but we did it! Then a heart-stopping comeback OT win against Oakland followed by a convincing double digit win over our newfound rivals YSU in a game we never trailed.

10 in a row. 16 of 17. Looking like a 15 seed in the tournament but could move up to a 14 depending on results in other conference tourney games. Will we be the next Oakland? Or, daring to dream, St. Peter's? Only time will tell. Hopefully we get a good draw on Sunday. I'm so proud of these guys. Congrats to every one of them.

Well said. What an exciting run to the NCAA. The crowd and entire environment against Wright State was unbelievable - just throbbing energy. The way this group has come together as a team is just sensational. There isn't one or two or even three guys that need to have a good game to win. Any of the entire seven man rotation can step up and win a game for you. I thought that they'd be better than a 15 seed with the season they've had. Let's hope for a good draw and a strong game.
