Robert Morris is in Ireland for ten days. The Colonials are playing their first of there games against Irish teams today and it appears things are off to a good start.

Highlights from the game.

Starters were Koby Thomas, Charles Bain, Matty McConnell, Josh Williams and Jon Williams.

Looks like Sayveon McEwen, Chris Coalman, Cam Wilbon, Seth Rouse, and David Cole all definitely played. Haven't found a box score, though, so not sure about anyone else. I'm sure they're trying to play as many guys as possible.

What a benefit for the guys to get meaningful games in now, especially with all of the new guys. Asked Shov on Twitter if there was anyway to stream, doesn't appear so.

Any word on Yannis Mendy? Toole didn't even mention him in his "they got to play" comment.

Yannis Mendy, Malik Petteway, and Philmon Gebrewhit were the only players who I never spotted in uniform or heard mentioned in the highlights RMU posted throughout the trip. Even the walk-ons Seth Rouse and Auric Sandoval played.

Philmon was on the trip, but he may not be allowed to play since he's sitting out this season as a non-qualifier.

Mendy and Petteway could be hurt or otherwise unable to play.

Petteway is still dealing with health problems and is doubtful for this coming season. Mendy will have a significant role on the team. Gebrewhit is a talented player and a very good shooter. The year off as a non-qualifier should benefit him, he needs to bulk up a bit and adjust to college level play.

Wilbon is a talented athlete that should contribute immediately. He's a very strong rebounder and scorer around the rim but needs to develop his outside shot.

Josh William is a mature, talented, smart and experienced D-1 player who will be a significant contributor to the team. Brother Jon did an excellent job at the point as a true freshman last year, with a year under his belt he should only be better.

Charles Bain may be the most improved player on the team. A big who can go inside or outside, rare in the NEC.

Kobe should be awesome this season.

Once they get back from Ireland, they should be announcing the signing of an incoming freshman point guard.

Completely agree with Bain. He looks good, not sure what would be a comparable level in US to some of the teams in Ireland they played, but Bain looked great in highlights.

Koby is going to explode, hopefully he stays, and I think team success will have a lot to do with it.

The team looks like they have a chance to be something special this year.

I think the younger guys having a year of experience under there belt will be huge (Jon Williams, Thomas, Cole, & Bain).

While losing Burke hurts, adding Josh Williams looks to be a nice replacement.

The team as a whole looks very capable to play good team basketball. If we have a lot of weapons on the floor, it will make us deep & harder to beat!

Did anything happen with the incoming freshman PG that GoRMU mentioned above?

I want to thank West Point for the opportunity. However, after lots of prayer and consideration, I’ve made a decision to continue my academic and D1 basketball dreams elsewhere. With that being said, I’m extremely grateful to say that I’ll be attending Robert Morris University!

He must be a pretty good student assuming he was admitted to west point. I think bball is going to have a great year. Really positive about the upcoming season.

Any word regarding conference change? Haven't heard anything regarding horizon or maac in awhile.

I noticed that Xavier Williams has transferred to Columbus State U, so apparently it is possible for a grad transfer to do it again. By my count it'll be his fifth institution of higher learning.

That would be great if Andy could find a grad transfer, might be hard to find someone now, who knows.
