RMU gets 6ft 10in Center

Coach Toole picked up his first commit for the 2016 recruiting class as Braden Burke (6-10 Center) out of Michigan committed to the colonials today. Looks like he could use to gain some muscle and weight, but looks to be a good pickup for RMU. He had 4 D1 offers... including two MAC schools (YSU and Oakland)..

He looks to be a good shooter (and three point shooter) from the highlight tape on Verbalcommits.com

Oops, ment he had two "Horizon league" offers (not MAC). They were Oakland and Youngstown St.

It's good Toole is adding some size to the roster as the team is losing Tate and Bennett to graduation after this year's season is over (and Gomis to transfer).

Hope they add another big man to 2016's class as well.

Impressive touch for a big man. As you note, needs to add weight but looks to have significant upside.

He has this year to gain "some weight" on him. Hopefully the Stats about him aren't lying & that he truly is 6-10 and 215 lb already. I mean, That's not a bad starting point. But gaining at least 10 lbs before starting at RMU would be good and not much to ask if he wants some decent Playing Time.

Hopefully he does that and improves his moves down low.
