I'm the new guy to this group so I'm hopeful and optimistic about the football team. Here's my agreement and disagreements
Dayton returns everyone to include the water boy and a sixth year statistician I think. They will be tough and maybe tougher than last year. Last years Flyer team was sophomore heavy they will be tough for another 2-3 years. Great program history as a matter of fact one of the longest and highest ranking if not the highest ranking team with over .500 seasons. This year won't be different. AGREE..
The other FCS team in Pittsburgh never to be referred to by name in any thread from here on out. Lost 3 guys that got Undrafted Free agent contracts at OL, DB, and WR. King caught 12 balls for 221 and a TD against W&M. They talk about Beuchel but if you take Brown away from Big Ben we saw the results of that. I predict the same. I think they are overrated and will not meet the hype. DISAGREE..
YSU is good brought in an athletic transfer QB from Nebraska that should be good. They have a pretty solid OL that gives up big plays with lost yard and sacks on blitzes because they are all road graders with limited mobility. If they get down hill on our defense it could be a long day. However with a new offensive play caller and a lot of players returning on the D..I'm big on Bobby Mo and I think they steal this one.
