Mike Miller Named Offensive Coordinator

Everythkng about him sounds great. If he can turn this offense around, this team will be in the running for the NEC title next year

Original_rmc everything that has been written about this hire just lists Miller's experience from his resume'. Tell us about the real guy.

After reading some of the coaches twitters, I think it's safe to assume rmu landed quite a few commits tonight. I saw one of them confirmed it on his Twitter, Brandon Magee from virginia. He's a 6'3" reciever/cornerback

RMU hires a guy with a lot of NFL experience, including as an asst. who coached in a Super Bowl, and also as an NFL OC, and the best headline the Trib Live can come up with is that he is a Plum grad???

Robert Morris hires Plum graduate to be offensive coordinator

I suspect that the headline writer is a Duquesne fan.

After doing some Twitter research it appears that RMU got some commitments this weekend

Chase Bodeman - QB Toledo Whitmer, after watching his tape could this be any indication in which direction the RMU offense is headed under Coach Miller

Brandon McGee- WR Bishop O'Connell, appears to be a bigger more physical receiver could be a nice match with Timmy V.

Conner Mundy - OL strongsville, looks to me like an interior player could be a nice guard or maybe a future replacement for Nick Farraci

They also signed a defensive back from florida, my guess is that it's DJ davis from american heritage. Also I watched the tapes of these guys. All 3 can be impact players. Magee definitely has the hands and route running ability to be a good possession reciever. Mundy is another athletic lineman that can pull. I really like the fact that we are getting these athletic lineman that can move well. And I was very impressed with bodemans tape. He definitely has the arm strength to play right away. The question is, do you really want to start another freshman? Barr came on really strong once healthy at the end of the season and started making progress. He also has almost a full season under his belt. Gonna be very interesting to see how the offseason pans out. Looks like there's gonna be a lot of great battles for positions on this roster. Something the team hasn't had in two years, quality depth. The coaching staff is finally building the depth back with some good recruiting

After further research it appears the defensive back commit was Thomas Neal http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2041527/thomas-neal appears to be same high school as Eric Maine.

Also seems like Aaron Thompson defensive back from Paramus Catholic was on campus. It shows he has an offer how ever no commitment. Watch the tape kid seems like a very long physical safety prospect would be a big get if RMU could get out of Paramus Catholic which is a New Jersey high school powerhouse. As always Go Bobby Mo !!

He has offers from FBS schools Florida Atlantic and Florida international. And the quarterback landed had an FBS offer from Eastern Michigan. It's great that we can pull in these kids that are being recruited by bigger, FBS schools

By the way, next seasons non conference game opponents are as follows:

University of Dayton
Youngstown State University
Liberty University
Alderson Broaddus-D2
Malone University-D2

That question I do not know. If I had to guess, I would say:
@ dayton, we were home this year
Youngstown at home, be cause we went there last fall
@liberty, I already know that's away
Malone and Anderson broaddus I would assume will be at home because they are d2 teams. Although Malone might be away considering they have the nice stadium in canton that hosts the hall of fame game every year
