Bobby Mo got it done yesterday in a very important game to win. Now, RMU sits tied for 7th place with LIU and is a game ahead of 9th place Bryant. RMU also holds a nice playoff spot as well currently for the NEC Tournament.
Less than 48 hours after Elijah Minnie, one of the team's best players, got booted from the program, the Colonials responded by dropping 89 pts (yes 89 pts!!!) in a college basketball game. Not only did we put up 89, but we won handily (by 18).
Notes-Best Players:
Billy Giles had a career high 23 pts & 10 rebounds for a double-double. Isaiah Still continued his great play by putting up 22 pts & grabbing 5 boards. Matty McConnell had 8 pts but also had 6 assists as well.
Rodney Pryor bounced back from Thursday's horrendous performance and put up 14 pts & 11 rebounds on 5-9 shooting.
Hopefully we can continue this momentum onto Thursday's game vs Saint Francis of Pa which is @ 5pm & will be televised nationally on
ESPN U.
