Eastern Michigan Football dropping to lower level?

Can't see YSU dropping down, facilities, talent, history, and leadership ( Tress ) would make them a target to go up if anything when the power five conferences split from the rest of the NCAA. Only thing that could hurt them would be location, with Akron, Kent only 35 minutes away.... Just some thoughts.

Apparently the RMU administration sees a benefit in having a football team. I have no idea of the size of the football budget at RMU, but I suspect it is extremely costly for a program that has average attendance of about 1,500 for five or six home games per year. I am a fan, I have not had to pay tuition for many years, so if the administration wants to spend money on football, that is fine with me.
