Dell'Omo leaving RMU

"Robert Morris University President Gregory Dell'Omo will step down at the end of the 2014-15 academic year after a 10-year tenure to become the seventh President of Rider University (New Jersey), beginning on Aug. 1, 2015."

Big blow for Robert Morris.

This is bummer news. Dr Dell'omo did a great job in his time here and really advanced the University on all fronts. On the athletics front, he especially recognized the importance of the basketball program and the power of free publicity for the University when successful. The win over Kentucky was certainly proof of that - hopefully, his replacement understands that as well. Many thanks to Dr. D and well wishes in his new endeavor.
