Gombe, 6'8" grad. transfer from Canisius.

Is there anybody coming back other than Marty? I've never seen turnover this bad

Out of control is right GoRMU. Let's hope it settles down with a few older recruits coming in.

Gombe have to sit out this year I would assume? Any idea where Clive is going?

Verbal Commits has him listed as a RS Senior so GoRMU is probably right about him being a graduate transfer, probably immediately eligible.

We will have some experience but new experience.

2 grad transfer big men and 1 JUCO guard will help with experience for sure.

Found a transfer list on VC that confirms Ronald Gombe is immediately eligible. No word yet in Clive's plans.

Shoot sorry guys. I was looking at it on my phone and missed the Grad Transfer part. Thank you for clarifying.

A talented player, sorry to see him go. Moving to a JUCO this late in the summer, could be academic issues, who knows. It is not unusual for a D-1 player, after his freshman year, to be disappointed with playing time and decide to transfer to a JUCO in order to get a fresh start, but Clive looked to be a likely starter this coming year, unless he was concerned about the competition from the newcomers that he saw this summer.

Could be grades and competition from some of the talented players Toole has pulled in on this class.

But still he would have seen playing time next year.

Regardless I see Freshmen PG L. Washington and Wing Koby Thomas to be pretty good and both could def start now or be in the top 6/7 minimum.

Matty McConnell and Dachon Burke should start too so if Toole goes with a small ball lineup both of the 2 above could start too with 1 big man in at the 5 spot.

We'll see and it should be fun to see all the new players...

Daytona State is a 4 year school that also offers associate degrees. I don't know if that would allow him to transfer to a D1 school after a year and not have to sit out. I'd be surprised if he left due to concerns about new competition.
