Nice catch for Robert Morris hoops. Chartiers Valley guard Matty McConnell has committed to RMU and coach Andy Toole.

Andy is really doing well locally the past two years. Good to see.

Certainly interesting to see a bit of a change. Toole did a great job recruiting out of Philadelphia when he first took over but perhaps his two biggest recruits the past year have now been Elijah Minnie and McConnell. Obviously, there's more commits coming but this is a huge get for Toole. Besides the talent, keeping local guys at Robert Morris could also see increased local interest and fan loyalty.
