Breaking: RMU to host Cornell in CIT

$10 at the door and parking shuttle makes it easy. Come out and see Matty and Malik's next last home game.

What a fun game! Shame on you if you missed it. Thought it would have been the perfect ending had Bain's put back dropped at the the of refulation, then they go 4 for 4 outside the arc, including 3 by Matty when they really counted, to close it out in OT.

Ya great game! Would be cool if we get to host again or have an away game that isn’t far (although every one would probably be at least a 3-4 hr drive except Kent State being 2 hours or so.

Where’d u hear this from?

Presby I think was in Big South for football, now moving to pioneer league I think. Small town. Pretty exciting news from bball latley.

Horrendous second half. Kind of emblematic of the season. Just when you think they were going to put it all together, it collapses. Presbyterian had an 18-0 run to start the second half. How does that happen?

There's a part of me that wonders if some guys just need to grow up. There are five sophomores and two freshmen in the rotation, after all.

But I also can't help but wonder if there's just something missing and that maybe the recruiting class can fill whatever that hole is.

They came out of half-time in a sleepwalk. I can't believe coach didn't call a timeout (or two!) during that run.

I was at the game & yelled at Toole to call at TO at about the 18min mark. He really should have. Honestly, could have saved this game.

By the time they took the lead, it was a massive gut punch to every fan in the arena.

A huge shame they blew that lead. Hope they run some suicides for punishment.

On the positive note, at least we got 1 win in the CIT to ensure a winning overall record on the year.

It was fun to be in a post-season tournament and to host two games. The season had its ups and downs but it's great to end up with a winning record for the first time in a few years. Good group of players coming back. I can see some of them taking a nice step up next season. I am excited about the two committed recruits, the big man from DC and the JUCO from Florida. It was great to get the games back on campus and there should be a lot of excitement with the new facility. There was a lot that I enjoyed this season and there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about next season. Go Colonials!

I was also yelling to take a timeout early in the second half. What were they saving them for? That was the ballgame.

It was nice to have games on campus again, having a winning season and a little taste of post season. Hope Koby is back and shows the athletic ability he flashed today.

Farewell Matty, we may never see another like you.

Matty was the best all around player on this team & will be missed dearly. He’s leadership & defensive tenacity willl be hard to replace.

I also agree that I hope Koby stays as Toole did show him more playing time in this game than last (only 3 min vs Cornell).
