Curious for you guys more in tune with bball. When is last time 2 D3 games were scheduled? Is it due to playing at the student center? Just curious.

I can't remember it happening, at least not recently. And it's absolutely due to the arena. I think the only other home games are either part of the Hall of Fame Classic or previously agreed upon deals (YSU, Siena).

One of the D3 games is probably because of Duquesne refusing to play RMU, too.

I would be surprised to see more than 1 D3 team sheduled next year. Maybe back down to 0...

Definitely would not want the first game in the new arena to be non-D1.

I doubt it will be.

When they have a new 4,000 seat arena I would be surprised to see any D3 teams scheduled unless it’s an exhibition game.

Yeah, exactly. The only non-D1 games they've had recently have been preseason exhibitions. I think this is clearly just a blip because of the arena situation.

I would imagine they'll have someone regional for the opener. I doubt it'll be Duquesne. But maybe a Patriot League school or one of the Ohio MAC schools. Or YSU. Someone close so that there might be some extra regional interest.
