I was looking this up for the heck of it, thought I would share if anyone is interested.
All of these rankings are from Ken Pom

Rankings as of 12/22/16
Wagner 3-6 (227)
RMU 4-9 (266)
Mount 1-11 (272)
Bryant 3-8 (279)
FDU 2-9 (294)
LIU 7-6 (298)
SHU 5-8 (309)
SFPA 3-8 (320)
CCSU 2-9 (340)

And just for some comparison of who RMU has played:
Buffalo is at 133
Lehigh 97
Duqs 209
YSU 280
Hampton 327
Towson 155
Oakland 114

Towson, Duquesne and Buffalo were all good wins.
YSU is the one loss that was a bit frustrating, the other losses were to teams better than the NEC.
It was great to D. Burke and Wright step up with Still being out.

Ya I agree...

YSU is our worst loss RPI wise and they're the equivalent of Bryant (4th RPI in the NEC).

RMU honestly has a much improved shot over last year of winning the NEC if they continue momentum from the Buffalo game.

If they work their best player back into the rotation after just beating a top 140 RPI team, we could be deadly.

Also, I think Lorezen Wright is the X-factor for Bobby Mo. He got another chance to give solid minutes against Buffalo and he gave them all right.

He had 12 points on 4-6 shooting from three. We could use some more solid games like this.

Hope he gets more time and his teammates find him at the 3 point line.

Go Bobby Mo!

I have noticed through the years that often JUCOs struggle a bit their first semester of playing D-1, and then show much improvement by second semester. Roberto and Lorenzen may be following this schedule. Roberto seems to be playing better, and fouling less. Since the NEC does not have dominate big men, he should be able to compete well in the Conference. As mentioned previously, hopefully Buffalo was a break out game for Lorenzen.

Ya good point... just like freshmen, the Juco's have to adjust to tougher and faster gameplay.

Hopefully the whole team is ready for NEC play cuz if they come ready, there's no team in the league we can't beat.

Need consistency, but we can compete for the league title this year.

Hoping for the best...

Good point guys about the juco guys.

I really think they can win conference if they play hard on d all game. Though sometimes I think it hurts the o get in rythm, they do a good job of rotating guys to keep them fresh and going hard on d.

Winning without Isiah is big, they know they can do it now if he is playing and not playing his best.

Ya if they play like they did without Still and add him in... could be really good
But... that could just be wishful thinking who knows...

Can Matty start shooting a decent percentage from the field??? Then we'd be rolling

We'll see

Go RMU

Lets get off to a nice start today. I expect a low scoring game, but I think the boys pull it out. Sounds like Isaiah Still will be good to go.
