How does Toole rebuild a program that keeps losing its best players? Does he wish he would have left two years ago and accepted the opportunity at Fordham?
Great article and great questions. How to rebuild? Can't 2nd guess your past choices but one has to be worried that if another A-10 job opens up, is Toole gone? I hope not and think he will stay around.
But what if Matty leaves around next season?

The women's team just signed a couple of more European players. Mike Iuzzolino was just inducted into the Italian Pro Basketball Hall of Fame. Maybe he can grab a couple of good European players for the RMU men's team. It is interesting to hear women's coach Charlie Buscaglia talk about recruiting, he wants the player to recruit Robert Morris as much as he is recruiting the player. He wants the right fit.
Isaiah Still is scheduled to visit Iona. It's one thing to lose a player to Georgetown or Clemson, but come on, he's leaving to consider Iona?
ORMC, agreed on all counts. I should clarify, I don't think moving up in conference will stop all transfers but I do think would help.
Toole is a tough coach, and I think that is why he has had success. A guy like still has improved dramatically on d over just the last year. He can coach, he can recruit. Toole and administration need to figure out how to keep more of these guys on campus for 4 years.
Suppose I should also note, I would never begrudge a grad transfer.
How about a grad transfer from D-II? There are a lot of good D-II players, including big men that could be excellent NEC players. I assume the grad transfer rule works the same. There have to be D-II players that would love to play one year at the D-I level, even if it is for an NEC team.
