Aaron Tate update.

Sounds like there is a good chance that Aaron Tate will take a medical redshirt this season.

According to Chris Mueller, "Toole said he's leaning towards shutting down Aaron Tate for the rest of season & having him take medical redshirt. Nothing set in stone yet"

Probably would be best for both parties at this point.

Not at all against this.

This year's team is not looking that good and it's to Aaron's benefit to get to play a lot more games next year.

If he takes a medical redshirt this year (& with Hugley leaving), then Toole would have 1 more scholarship to be used for next year.

I think it would be best (if Tate & everyone returns that is) that the last remaining spot is a wing player (guard/forward). With Pryor graduating this year, we could use another player at that position) like 6-4,6-5,6-6 or so in height. Would be nice if they can hit threes at a decent rate as well since this team is shooting barely over 30% from trey.

Still, let's not give up on this year's team. Let's go 2-0 this week and get to 3-3 (.500) in league play.

I mean. another year of free education and hoops.

I think his tweet was more like "He might quit basketball, redshirt or play out this year.
So far far for "playing" he's only played 2 games and 5 minutes from another one (Bucknell I believe).

We'll see what happens
