Tonight Robert Morris University takes on the Buffalo University Bison in their last non-conference game.

A win tonight for RMU would not only be good for their confidence but also their record as they can get to 4 wins tonight. (Note: In 2014-15...the year RMU went to the NCAA Tourney...RMU had 4 OOC wins).

A big question tonight is not the defense which ranks in the top 150 in the nation but really the offense. RMU is struggling mightily offensively and lacks a reliable scorer outside Isaiah Still (16 PPG).

Kavon Stewart currently is RMU's 2nd leading scorer at about 10 PPG but is not a scorer in reality. He isn't very efficient at all from three in his career and throws up a lot of wild shots at the rim.

Hopefully D. Burke, Matty McConell, &/ or Clive Allen pick(s) up their game to be the #2 scorer. But D. Burke and Allen are only Freshman.

Basically everyone that follows RMU even a little knows Matty has struggling horribly on Offense. He's only shooting 25% from the field and 19% from three!
McConnell hasn't made a 3 since November. Here's to hoping he makes one tonight and plays well.

RMU can win this game!

Head out to the Penguins arena (PPG Paints) tonight to see RMU play if u can!

Go Bobby Mo!!

Why is Still not dressed?

Apparently he has a leg injury I believe.

Hope he's back soon!

Matty might have shot 1-8 or so from three but he hit his first in December!!! Lol

RMU won by three (74-71) over Buffalo.

Ending 4-9 in the non-conference slate.

Nice W! & Go RMU!

Excellent win!
Buffalo probably is a better team than any that we will face in the NEC Conference. We got a shot! Go Colonials!

It was a really gutty win. Guys had a bad stretch to start the second half and were down by 5 or 6 after being up by a dozen. They did not quit though and that is great to see.

In M4Fam Style:
Positives:
- B Burke = Showed some nice moves under the hoop and great little baseline jumper.
- D Burke = Kid is just a grinder, does not quit on anything, anytime. Think he has a really bright future.
- Kavon = Mixed it up, even hit a 3. Drove to basket and seemed to be a leader out there.
- Lorenzo = Wow, if he can duplicate those threes, and at BIG moments, that would be a great weapon off the bench.
- Tate = What a dunk, just a hustle guy who gets it done
- Zone = Think Toole went to it to stop them driving down the middle and maybe to stop some of the fouls.
- They won without Still
- Matty = Great on D again, hopefully he finds a more consistent shot soon.

Negatives:
- Poor start to second half
- Foul trouble

Overall, a great win for the guys. That hopefully will give some guys confidence that they can win. The real season starts now.

Nice points...

This win should give all the guys some positives now that they go away for Christmas and prepare for the conference slate.

I think that Lorezen Wright has to get some time and that Still being out a game could really actually benefit RMU in the long run.

The other guards got more time and for three point shooting alone Toole needs to give Wright at least 10 minutes a game.

He shot 4-6 from deep against Buffalo and I'd rather have him chucking up threes than Matty. Matty needs to shoot less and Wright needs to shoot more (at least three point wise).

Agreed???

Go RMU

Judging from Wright's highlight video from the JUCO National tournament last year, he has the ability to really get hot, and stay hot over several games. Hopefully, he gets hot, and stays hot, against the NEC opponents.

Exactly... we need him to make at least 33-40% of his threes and we could be deadly against anyone in the NEC.

I hope that yesterday was his coming out game!

Would be sweet and what we need at just the right time...

Go RMU and get well soon Zay Still...
