ColonialsCorner wasn't in attendance for the final slate of regular season games in the Pro-Am on Monday, but we do have the results and pertinent stats from the night's action.

The Pro-Am continues on Wednesday with first round playoff action. Every team will be involved, so there will still be plenty of Robert Morris-oriented hoops action to catch.

As for Monday night's games....

UPMC 98, SOUTH HILLS AUDI 88
For the first time this year, South Hills Audi lost a game. Playing without dynamic point guard Lance Jeter, South Hills was led by John DeGroat (26 points) and Pitt frosh Cam Johnson (23 points). But thanks to 28 points from Pitt's Chris Jones and 27 points from Duquesne's Desmond Ridenour, UPMC was able to prevail.

Kavon Stewart, playing in his second game of the summer, also contributed to UPMC's win with an excellent shooting performance. Stewart made just one basket last week but was excellent on Monday, going 3-of-3 from the floor - including 2-of-2 from 3-point range - and 7-of-9 from the free throw line for 15 points. He also had four assists. Andre Frederick had four rebounds and two assists for UPMC.

SYSTEM ONE 118, BAKERY SQUARE 102
Along with South Hills, System One is proving to be one of the dominant teams in the league this year, mainly because of its offense. And once again, Marcquise Reed was in the thick of it for System One. The RMU freshman had 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting while hauling down six rebounds and dishing out five assists. Reed was one of four players over 20 points for System One, joining Mike Young (31 points, 13 rebounds), Micah Mason (21 points) and LG Gill (20 points). Aaron Tate had a really solid 10 points and 9 rebounds for System One.

Joe Uchebo continued his strong play for Bakery Square, dumping in 36 points and 21 rebounds. Jordan Stevens (Duquesne) also had a good night with 25 points and 8 assists.

PGT 101, CRONS 99
The significant RMU development out of this close game was the return of Elijah Minnie and Ryan Skovranko to the court. While Lucky Jones was going off for 28 points and 6 rebounds for PGT, Minnie had a solid 20 points (9-of-17 shooting) and 3 rebounds for CRONS. Skovranko, the incoming walk-on, also had a good night. After making just one shot in his debut at the beginning of the season, Skovranko went 5-of-13 - including 5-of-8 from 3-point range - and had seven rebounds for 15 points.

Stephan Hawkins had a rough shooting night for PGT, going 1-of-6 for 3 points and a rebound.

The major story for CRONS, though, was Derrick Colter (Duquesne) going off for 33 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds. It's believed to be the first triple-double in the league since at least 2008 and possibly the first one ever.

SHALE ATTORNEY 103, GNC 94
No Karvel Anderson meant GNC had to get Jamel Artis to pitch in and help out on Monday. Artis did his best, scoring 28 points and hauling down 8 rebounds, while Aaron Johnson provided 22 points. It just wasn't enough. Robert Morris forward Lionel Gomis had another good game, though, scoring 18 points (9-of-20, including 0-of-6 from 3-point range), and collecting 10 rebounds.

The reasons why Shale won? Rene Castro and Charles Oliver. Castro, the Butler transfer headed to Duquesne, had a season-high 45 points, which is the most since Keith Benjamin had 51 points several years ago. Oliver had a more pedestrian 29 points, but it was yet another 20-plus point game for Oliver in the league.
