The Colonials were a massive success story in 2019. They went a combined 1-17 against NEC opponents from 2016-19. And then last season, RMU went 6-1 in the conference standings (second place behind 7-0 Central Connecticut State) and finished 7-5 overall.

Some of RMU's top offensive players were just sophomores, like QB George Martin and RB Alijah Jackson. While CCSU has a lot of production coming back, including most of its players on a tremendous defense, I think the Colonials will close that gap after a breakthrough season.

I am excited about the W/R and T/E transfers to go along with experienced starting O/L, QB and RB.

The defense has some holes to fill, but it seems the JUCO transfers could be the answer.

I must admit, during Coach Clark's first season I was starting to wonder about the new "culture." But I am a believer now.

I have noticed on twitter the last couple of days that RMU is making offers to 2021 recruits.
