Rumor Surrounding Coaching Staff

Lots of good discussion here... Ive been MIA the last week ( the mrs. took me on a cruise ) However reached out to some people, who mentioned the staff was told they would be back next season.

Now there hasn't been an official statement from the athletic department and there is still three games left in the season. Maybe orginial rmc can reach out to his connects in the Athletic department to confirm.

Yeah I doubt anyone is going to let me know especially the staff. They were not happy with me posting the RMU sentry article in a private FB group with other former players. It is what is and I'm sure they will read this and be upset again...lol.

If that is true, that is lot of pressure for 2017.
Does anyone know the non-conference schedule for RMU next season?

ORMC cant fault you for passing information along lol........ and I would imagine Dayton would be one of them as they are a staple of Non conference games

Would think NDSU is a lock, Dayton probably close to a lock, another D2 coming to Moon is probable. Other than that, will probably have to wait for other teams to release or hear it on Banny's radio show.

As far as the Coaches rumor. You can see how the admin could see the QB problems, and the talented freshman as reasons to give them another shot.

That makes a lot of sense. I think that, and a D2 at home would be my guess. ETSU makes sense for a return game from last year. VMI and RMU have played in the past. That is a pretty nice looking schedule I think. VMI and ETSU are SoCon, NDSU speaks for it self, and I really like the Dayton game, though it has been a tough one.

I do know ysu and James Madison will be on the The schedule for atleast one of the next 2 seasons. I saw a paper from one of the trasnfers and they were both listed as schools he wasn't allowed to transfer too. With that said, I'm not sure if they will be on next season, the one after that, or both

I hope not a DII school but I understand if schedules of other teams handcuff RMU. I would like them to try to schedule perhaps another PFL team and look at the Patriot league or Ivy league.

Just to be clear, I am not advocating a D2. Patriot or Ivy i think would be great. Pioneer would be really good as well. I know years ago Valpo, Butler, Morehead were on schedule. Seems like they have pulled away from that recently. Nothing to gain playing D2, certainly not when rebuilding and there is a chance for a L.

As far as any rumors surrounding the coaching staff, I would say that is exactly what they are, rumors. From what I know of Dr. Howard and Dr. Coleman, they make decisions, any type of decisions, once they believe they have adequate information. In this case, that may not be until the end of the season. In the mean time, I do not believe they will be discussing the situation with anyone, except with each other. I could be wrong, but that is the way I see it.
