RMU vs VSU Game Notes

Outside of the line reflecting the starters from Dayton, the only things I noticed is that Warren Robinson is listed as a starter at WR despite not playing last week. It'd be great if an experienced guy is back, even just to be a threat on special teams. But I'm not sure if it's accurate, because Anthony Dellefemine is still listed as the starter at wide receiver despite Chase Bodeman starting last week. Bodeman's not on the depth chart.
So not sure what that all is about.

As far as Virginia State, they we're pretty good last year, think this might be a close game. Hopefully the O keeps going and the D gets tightened up.
Would love to see RMU get up early and then grind out the running game.

Might have miss heard, but sounded like coach said Martin might be in before he knew it.
I think he maybe future at QB position. Looked like Timmy out there to me.

- He praised Jimmy Walker and Matt Gonzalez for their work against Dayton.
- Said the coaches may not have had players in the best position on defense, in terms of scheme and attacking the Flyers' offense. Missed a few assignments and tackles, but coaches could have done better.
- Is very aware of making sure that they don't overload the defense with information too early. Wants them to be able to play free and fast. Trimmed things back this week.
- Wants to get Terence Stephens and the running game going a little bit better.
- Mentioned that the series George Martin directed to a touchdown was a nice glimpse at Martin's potential and a positive for the future
- Has 7 or 8 guys who understand what they're doing on the offensive line, so they're open to trying different combinations.
- RMU will be back on the fan side of Joe Walton Stadium instead of having the benches on the other side.
