RMU @ SHU

DellefeDelll is back on depth chart, think he got banged up a game or 2 back so good to see him. He is a player.

Had a feeling this might be a rough one and it was. Sacred Heart leads the league for a reason.

38-7 final.

I didn't have a chance to watch on NECFrontRow, but some interesting lineup decisions and final stats. Terence Stephens had one rushing attempt. Jordan Johnson had 20 for 72 yards and started the game.

Tavin Allison, a former receiver, started at safety? I don't think Jon Muehlbauer has played the last few weeks, so he must be hurt.

And then 3 QBs played. Looks like Jimmy didn't return after he threw an interception in the 1st quarter. Caleb Lewis played the second quarter and then George Martin played the rest of the game.

The D needs fixed. You have a DB talking S in second quarter when down 35-0 after really not doing anything. Just a s**t show. SHU could have score a lot more if they wanted to, and RMU wasn't pushing, so clock ran.

The DC needs changed. Bottom line. I have been waiting for real progress, but it's just not there. Canton, wallet, lamica, Stanford,. Fenwick are all good to great NEC players. Same with 27 who might be hurt. That's almost half of the starters. Need to do better. Clark is a D guy, needs to make a change and sooner the better.

Not sure what's going on with O. 2 games in a row without much production. Glad 17 got to play but they were missing top 2 RBs.

Would be interested in what others think, but not much to be positive after this game.

Didn't look like the defense was ready to play. Not much originality to the defense. I don't believe they had any sacks. Week after week we get beat by QB's that can pass and run. It opens up the offense. QB's are not athletic and seem to focus only on the initial receiver and throw the ball to that receiver regardless if he is covered with three defenders. There does not appear to be any progression by the Qb's. i.e.. primary receiver, secondary receiver if covered, third receiver then maybe outlet receiver. The protection of the offensive line is much better so there is not any reason not to go through a progression. On many occasions the secondary receivers are wide open but the QB's do not even look at them. There was definitely something wrong with the defense and agree a new coordinator is needed. Farison is really missed. Hopefully some improvements can be made this week or it will be another long day in Richmond KY.

EKU is probably 2nd best team they play this year. Unless something drastic happens, will be a bloodbath
