Joe Lunardi has Pitt out of the Tournament for the second year in a row (in his pre-season bracket) and has Robert Morris in for a second straight year. And, for a second straight year, the only team to make the NCAA Tourney from the burgh.

If this indeed does happen, (which it very well could) it could help RMU's stature in Pittsburgh a lot and get (much) more people in the stands.

Thoughts???

It certainly wont hurt, but Pitt's brand is so big that I wont hurt them. Ive said for year that RMU needs a huge early season win to spark interest. While the program has sustained a ton of success over the years, its all come at the end of the season. While that is great news, it leaves a long offseason ahead of those wins and people loose interest. Hopefully the Colonials can beat Cincinnati early in the year and really spark interest before the home schedule kicks off!

Yeah definitely agree with you a win over Cincy and/or Georgia could really do wonders for this program. Plus, just putting together a better non-con record AND getting a good seed in the tourney would help too...

Can't wait for hoops...
But not the cold that comes with it- lol...
