Official 2016 football roster up

Looking at the roster, a couple big names PPP out to me not being there. Kimani smith, he was tremendous at outaide linebacker last season til he got a blood clot and couldn't finish the season, I guess he is not coming back. I know a few kids aren't on the roster because of grades or too many failed drug tests, but I was surprised to see Anthony Lucian not on the roster. He was one of the veteran guys coming back on the offensive line. Krys Diaz is also not on the roster, along with gio de Loera and Carlton watson. Even with the addiction of all the freshman lineman, we still only have 12. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come
Yes, with the exception of Blake Chambliss and Mike Lamb the OL is really lacking experience. Drew Garbenis has been in the program for a few years, but has not gotten much playing time, is he ready to step-up? What about a couple of R-Fr. Harrison Everley and Dan Creter?

Excellent observations by Sallychan. So many kids in high school want to play college sports, but have no understanding of the total commitment it requires, especially at the D-1 level. The student/athletes that stick it out by playing four years and graduating timely are really something special.
