Now that all of RMU sports have wrapped up for the 2017/2018 school year, let's get some offseason conversation going. To start off, what is anyone's analysis of the depth chart for the 2018 football season? It seems to me there are certain positions where we will have great depth, such as QB, WR, and DB. I am optimistic about the quality of the players on the OL and DL, but fear there just are not enough of the big guys when injuries start to happen.

Feel free to comment on this or to bring up another offseason football topic on this thread.

It feels like, more than any other year, it's going to be crucial for the team to stay healthy. The staff seems to be aggressively recrutinre for the future, but there is only so much it can do to add players for the upcoming season. For once, I think they have some pieces in the secondary and on offense, but I'm very skeptical about the strength and depth up front on both sides of the ball.

Maybe training camp will be different and a bunch of guys are being added that we're not aware of. But they need probably five more guys on each line and that feels like a lot.

That is a lot, and hopefully they get some late guys working to get their academics where they need or something falls through at a different school.

Really excited for this staff and it's influence on the guys.
