Couple of big games for the guys. Hopefully they can win them both.

Just for the heck of it, I checked Massey Ratings and the predictions:

Current Ratings:
RMU: 278
Little Rock: 288
Norfolk: 334
So from that, clearly look likes they can/should win both. So onto the chance of winning per Massey.

RMU vs Norfolk: RMU has 60% chance of winning
RMU @ Little Rock: RMU only has a 28% chance of winning. Likely due to the home court???

Anyways, I think RMU is a higher level team than either of these, hopefully they prove me right.

Looks like tonight's game is only on the radio. The Little Rock game can be viewed here:http://lrtrojans.com/watch/?Live=224&type=Live
Not sure if you have to pay for that one or not.

We are definitely higher than Norfolk State. Little Rock was really good a few years ago (I think they were a 12-14 seed & pulled an upset?).

RMU really must win 1 of these 2 games.

Both would be nice/great tho.

Go RMU

Forgot that Norfolk is where Steven Whitley went. Averaging 13.5 points in his first season playing for Norfolk.

Good win for the guys. From radio call sounded like refs were garbage, and it was sloppy. But if they win a sloppy game by 20+ that's great. Beat Little Rock tomorrow and this season looks pretty exciting.

Koby Thomas-sounds like he was a beast tonight...over 20 points...9-10 shooting, 3-4 from three. Great game.

Leondre Washington did good as well. 15 points on solid shooting #'s.

Matty-did not have a good game. 1-10 & 1-9 from three.

Also nice seeing that Washington had 5 assists & Jon Williams had 7 assists.

Koby got in foul trouble early also, I did not check box score but I think Shovel said post game he did that in like 22 mins.

Pretty impressive player so far. Hopefully Matty can find his shot. May need it for the game today.

Looks like might have to pay to watch game today fyi. I clicked through and it said "premium" content.

Think I will watch anyways, this team is pretty fun to watch and they play hard on D. Win today would be HUGE!

They are a fun bunch to watch. Koby is REALLY good, and looks like DBurke has stepped up as well. Leondre Washington is doing a great job as well. That young man, like a lot of the team, has just a ton of potential. Once he improves his D a little and makes better decisions with the ball, he could really be a star in the NEC.

Toole is a heck of a coach, though it is early, to get these guys playing this hard on both ends of court. Lots of transition point against Little Rock, again, just a fun team to watch, and when guys buy in and play Tooles system, it works.

Youngstown is next on Wednesday, that should be a W as well if the guys keep playing like they have recently. Wish they could get another shot at San Diego, but thats how it goes.

Right...obviously we wish we could get the first 3 teams again (OSU, GCU & San Diego) but sadly we can't. I knew that it would take a few games for the freshmen to start adjusting to D1 basketball & for the team to gel.

It is starting to come together & they still can keep improving every game.

While we haven't been historically good against YSU recently, our guys can definitely win if they play like they've been playing.

It's too bad RMU broke off the Pitt series. This could have been the year the Colonials could have given the Panthers a game or even stolen a win. RMU could be the best college program in Pittsburgh this season.
